About Kathy Myrick

Kathy Myrick relocated to Durango, CO from the Eastern Shore Maryland in 2004, and rapidly made the shift from photographing Chesapeake Bay area scenery and outdoor sports to photographing southwest landscapes and wildflowers in the Four Corners region.   Her work has been published in Durango Magazine, Majestic Living Magazine and Arts Perspective Magazine, from which she received an Honorable Mention in their 2007 Photo Contest.  In 2009, her work was exhibited in the 6th Annual Juried Show, Images of the Southwest, at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College in Durango and in the Salmon Ruins New Mexico Heritage Preservation Month Architectural Photo Contest in Bloomfield, NM.  She is also a winner of the KSUT Photo of the Month, and has shown work at the Open Shutter Gallery, the Barbara Conrad Gallery at the Durango Arts Center, Artifacts Gallery (Farmington, NM), the Rochester Hotel and the Durango Coffee Company.  See her work at Create Art & Tea at 1015 Main Avenue, Durango, CO.  She uses all Nikon digital cameras and lenses.
